The Assistant Administrator of the United Nations Development Programme ( UNDP) and Director of Regional Bureau for Asia and the Pacific visited the forestry projects in the southern slope of the Alborz Mountains.
During this visit, Mr. Haoliang Xu planted a saplings and expressed his joy due to implementation of this project and said that this programme is important for Tehran metropolitan, because it is located in arid and semi-arid regions and the implementation of such projects help conserve soil and the environment as well as water resources
