طرح مسئله بحران ملي در بيستمين اجلاس کميته جنگل (3)

انفجار آفات تحت تاثير تغييرات اقليمي ، سوسک چوبخوار که آينده اسف باري که جنگل هاي غرب ايران، همانطور جنگل هاي ترکيه و عراق و ... را تهديد مي کند را به عنوان يکي از مصاديق بيان داشتيم (بيانيه ايران در صحبت هاي سه کشور ديگر که فلوور گرفته بودند تکرار شد از جمله کشور کويت با تشکر از بيانيه ايران تاکيد به توجه به اين امرمهم

مسئله حمله آفت به جنگل هاي غرب در گروه تخصصي مربوطه، که در حاشيه اجلاس برگزار مي شد نيز طرح کرديم و نهايت اينکه با تلاش ايران در گزارش بيستمين اجلاس کميته جنگل (البته بطور عام) جهت حمايت فني و مالي جهاني مطرح گرديد.

In the name of God
Iran recognizes the importance of forest health and biodiversity especially under the impact of climate change and the increase of global trade in forest products.We support the Guide to implementation of phytosanitary standards in forestry which was presented by FAO on Tuesday during the session for Item 5.2 - Forest health and forest fire in the context of climate change. We feel that increased cooperation between foresters and plant health officials will help reduce pest problems such as the Agrilus beetle currently threatening Iran's oak forest.

19. The Committee encouraged FAO to distribute the Guide to implementation of
phytosanitary standards in forestry as guidance on practices that minimize pest prevalence and
spread without impacting on trade and encouraged countries, FAO and partners to strengthen
country capacity to use these measures through pilot activities, the development of training
material and enhanced cooperation and the exchange of experiences on this issue within and
among regions.
